Daisy Delight Mother's Day Gift

I have to admit that that the new Daisy Delight stamp set is going to be my favorite set from our new catalog and idea book (live on 6/1, but available now!)  I make a stationery set for my Sister-In-Law and my nieces for Mother’s Day every year.  This year as stationery set from Caroline Helwigh Wright of Caroline Creates, a demonstrator of North Shields, England, caught my eye. (

I used several different sets, including the set she used, Garden In Bloom, as well as Fresh Fruit (retired) and Daisy Delight..  I will post these photos at a later time.  They turned out so cute.  Each set contains 4 very simple single layer note cards, gift cards and gift tags.  In addition, I covered a blank book with hand stamped paper and adorned it with ribbon.  Colors used were Dapper Denim, Curry Crush and Garden Green..
The cards are super simple and artsy, I think..  There are a minimum of products used, so it is also economical..  Great idea for a hostess gift, too!
If you like the Daisy Delight set, consider the bundle, you get the coordinating punch and save 10%.  Also available right now are faceted gems, which make great centers, the coordinated DSP and a specially coordinated Card Stock pack of 3 colors.
Stay tuned for an update with dimensions for creating this set and additional photos.

Crazy Stamping Ladies shoe Box Swap

Our Crazy Stamping Ladies Team had a meeting and "Shoe Box Swap" last night (5/4/17).  We each create a card, then prepare 10 (more or less, depending on how many participants we have)  "kits" in a shoe box with supplies, tools & embellishments for each participant to create the card.  When we're all finished we have 10 cards ready to send! Below is my offering made with our "Beautiful You" set in Sweet Sugarplum and Sahara Sand.  I love this "girlfriends" set and I plan on using it as a special Graduation Card for one of my nieces.

SU Jewish Themed Passover Bloghop

I’m excited to be participating in another Jewish Themed Stampers Bloghop.  This time we are displaying our ideas for Passover Cards & Crafts.  I searched for lots of ideas to draw from and my biggest inspiration came from the Passover Haggadah itself.  The Haggadah is a book used to organize the service or Seder usually held at home with the whole family gathered around the table, telling the miraculous story of how the Hebrew people were delivered from slavery to the Pharohs of Egypt.  It’s my favorite Jewish Holy Day.  I’m not sure if it’s because of the gathering of the whole family or it’s because of the 4 glasses of wine drunk as part of the Seder.
I borrowed the phrase from the story “With a Mighty Hand and an Outstretched Arm, He brought us forth out of Egypt,” and used one of my favorite symbols – the Hamsah, a universal symbol of Divine Protection to symbolize the Mighty Hand.
Here is my offering.  Thanks for visiting and don’t forget to visit the other blogs

All the images are stamps from the Paisleys and Posies set that was offered and carried over from the 2016 Holiday Catalog.  I used the images against a hand-drawn base image of the Hamsah.  The trickiest part was creating reverse images of the paisley and the some of the floral images.  It was a learning experience!
